Cutting a design into lino in my studio.

Inking up – mixing up oil based ink and rolling it onto the lino before printing. Often very thin transparent ink colours are used.

This caustic etched lino design has been printed on my  ‘press’. My press is an old  electric ‘Enjay’ from the Art department that was at Underdale Campus, Adelaide, SA. This image shows me lifting the new print off the lino block.
